Built on the ground, not from a distance

I have more than 23 years' experience across Asia, particularly Indonesia and Southeast Asia, including 14 years as a professional footballer. My background includes international business, sports diplomacy, market entry, strategic partnerships, government engagement and education.

A major point of difference is that my experience has been built on the ground in Asia, understanding the culture, speaking Bahasa Indonesia and Croatian, developing trusted relationships and actually delivering projects rather than advising from a distance.

Through Access Asia Advisors, I support Australian companies entering Indonesia, Indonesian organisations expanding into Australia, and corporates navigating government, regulatory and stakeholder environments. Current projects span market entry into Indonesia across sport, education, resources and mining services.

I also specialise in sports diplomacy: using sport as a strategic tool for engagement and influence, and advising sporting bodies, governments and organisations on how to build relationships and deliver outcomes across Asia.
